Small Room, Big Impact: Why I Used Peel & Stick Wallpaper in My Half Bath

July 31, 2025

Hey, I'm Far!

I love homemaking and creating spaces that feel good—cozy, fresh, and lived in. Around here, you’ll usually find me with a hot coffee in the early mornings, chasing tiny feet, fixing up our 1949 Cape, and dreaming up the next project. Oh—and of course, sharing all my favorite finds with you along the way!

I’ve always been intrigued by wallpaper—how patterns can completely transform a plain room into something full of charm and character. But if I’m being honest? The whole idea of traditional wallpaper totally intimidates me. The mess, the glue, the commitment… what if I hate it in a year? Or in a week?

So I started searching for a less-stress, more-flexible solution—and that’s when I went down the rabbit hole of removable peel and stick wallpaper.

At first, I wasn’t even sure if peel and stick could really hold up. Would it look cheap? Feel plasticky? Would it even stick? I had a lot of questions. So, naturally, I did what any design-conscious person does—I researched like crazy for about a month and ordered a lot of samples.

After testing out samples from four top peel and stick wallpaper brands, I finally found the one that stood out above the rest. Here’s a quick breakdown of what I tried and what I thought:

Chasing Paper

Their designs are pretty and lots of options—but ultimately I felt that it wasn’t for me (at this time). Though, I’d definitely consider them if I found a pattern I couldn’t live without.

Rifle Paper Co.

I adore their stationery and prints and have heard great things about their wallpaper collection, so could be that I just got a batch of removable wallpaper samples that weren’t as vibrant.

Painted Paper

Bold, luxe, artsy, and super eye-catching! While I loved the creativity in their designs, it wasn’t quite the look I was going for in my home at the moment. But if you’re going for bold, definitely worth checking out.

LoomWell

This one completely won me over. The designs are stunning and the quality is not like any other I’ve seen. It honestly feels like traditional wallpaper, both in texture and appearance. Plus, they collaborate with artists from around the world, which makes each design feel extra special. This is the brand I kept coming back to, sampling more and more from them—and the one I’ll be using in my home.

I was so excited to have found beautiful removable wallpaper that I wanted to share this women-onwed small business with you as well:

Now that I’ve found my go-to peel and stick wallpaper, the next challenge is deciding which prints go where. I want each room to feel unique but still flow together—cohesive, but with personality.

The first space to get the wallpaper treatment will be our half bath. We’ve been working on the half bath for weeks now and I picked out the wallpaper well before I confirmed the paint color! I knew when I saw the design sample that it was it, sometimes you just know and I tend to follow my gut often for better or worse, hah!

The wallpaper delivery came in this week so stay tuned for the gorgeous wallpaper and half bath reveal, it’s coming very soon!
